' Tomb Raider: Underworld ' Concept Art

Eidos just released some of my concept art for Tomb Raider: Underworld . Marketing will probably be doing periodic media drops leading up to the game's release later in the year. If they release more of my concept pieces I'll be sure to post 'em up here.

For more info on the upcoming Tomb Raider, as well as Lara's previous adventures ( including ' Tomb Raider: Anniversary ', which I worked on before Underworld ) visit:

Dominance War III

....it was fun to break out the inks and get messy with this one.

These are some development sketches I did for Dominance War III. If you are not familiar with it, it's an online art competition where several forums compete in a virtual battle for ultimate glory...uh...or something like that. I joined partly with pipe dreams of winning some lovely loot, but mostly as a kick in the pants to do some of my own art outside of work. Unfortunately I had too much other stuff going on to finish all the artwork required in time to submit for judging, but I definitely had fun doing these drawings.

Painting myself into a corner

Another quick 'colors' painting on my DS. It's the corner of a meeting room at work painted from life.

'Hellgate: London' Concept Art

Well, since the url for my blog is "conceptartblog.com" (not a very creative name I know, but meh, hopefully easy to remember) ....anyway, I figured I should actually post some concept art here.

These are some recently released concepts I did for the upcoming 'Hellgate:London' patch called 'The Abyss Chronicles'

If you're interested you can find more info about it here: http://hellgatelondon.com

Art Nouveau Ladies

This is a series of drawings I did quite a while ago, but I thought I'd go ahead post em up here.

They are my own original figures & compositions, but the style is obviously heavily influenced by the Art Nouveau movement, in particular the master himself, Mr. Alphonse Mucha. They are graphite on paper and each drawing is itty bitty, I think 2 ½" x 2 ½" , so about the actual size you see on screen.

I just got the simple painting program, "colors" for the nintendo DS. This is my first attempt at painting with it. Not very exciting subject matter....just the corner of a room painted from life, but it was fun to do.
